tosh is four!

Tosh had a great and busy day. It was fun that his birthday fell on Memorial Day this year so we could all have the day off together. We had a little party (at lunch time) with a few of his friends today.

Tosh has been asking for a Batman cake for months. We served pizza and fruit for lunch and ate yummy cupcakes and ice cream.

We played several different party games. Here is a shot of Rob playing "The Ants Go Marching" while the kids followed him around the house: I love this shot of Tosh marching: Time for cake!
Gifts!
Each kid took home their own personalized cape:
After the party and naps (for Liv, Rob and me!), we went swimming and had a BBQ at the home of some friends. The kids had a blast playing and swimming, and we ate Tosh's big cake with everyone. Tosh was so worn out that he fell asleep on the way home tonight.

Hooray for Tosh! We love you, T!

Yeah, I was going to ask about the capes--did you have a pattern, or just freehand them? Fabric paint with a stencil for the names?
