We got home from our big trip late Tuesday night (7/16) and had the next few days to get ready for school. We bought new school shoes, went to "Meet the Teacher," and tried to squeeze in some more family fun. We were able to get into the Arizona Science Center for free (with Rob's Intel badge) on Saturday, the 20th. Rob and I had never been there before and we were not disappointed. We had a GREAT time!

There were all sorts of interesting sections of the science center including an amazing area all about the human body. This cool "TAM" would tell you about different body parts and functions (each part would light up while being explained):

There was a really interesting 'weather' area. In the middle of the room they had a huge platform to stand on as we watched a movie about different kids of weather. You could feel the different elements such as wind, heat, rain, earthquake, etc. It was really fun. We did it about three different times. The typhoon (wind and rain) felt much better than the forest fire (major heat). I love how Liv is clinging onto Rob as she watches:

This is was in the 'digital' area where there were all sorts of cool things. Isn't this such a cool picture? I think it looks like an album cover! :)
One good thing about being gone most of the summer is the the kids are still really interesting in swimming!
