For over a year now, Hewitt has been saying just about the same prayer every time it's his turn. There is always an expression of gratitude for the day, and a blessing on the food (even at bedtime). I'm not sure of the reason (he was clearly not feeling well and was extra sensitive tonight), but his personal prayer tonight was notably different. He was still thankful for the day and for the food, but ALSO included, "Help me to not get so mad, (pause), to find my way, (pause), and to follow the prophet and Jesus..."

This is certainly my prayer for this sweet (and sometimes sour) child every day.
